STGCOOLDECKING was great to work with. They were prompt in all responses and questions we had. We had our back yard cement covered around our pool. On hot days here in sunny St. George our cement got very hot to walk on going to and around our pool. We have kids and loads of family with kids and we wanted our cement not to be so hot we couldn’t enjoy our pool. We got in contact with STG Cool Decking and they came out gave us a free estimate and explained how the product worked and how it was applied. Seriously so fast and we absolutely love their product. Highly recommended.
Reasonable price Great product and it was very nice to work with Jason and Levi. If you are thinking the concrete you currently have is good enough its not. This decking is so much cooler on the feet than the concrete,and you can choose your own color.

In a word, AWESOME !! We could not be more happy with our experience with Jason and his crew. The whole process from the inquiry to the finished cool deck around our pool was so easy. They were all very punctual and showed up when they said they would. The whole process only took 2 days and looks fantastic. The area around our pool was nearly 20 years old and looked very tired. After Malcolm and Amber were done it looks better than new. Its looks so fresh and clean. We would highly recommend this company and it's crew to anybody wanting a high quality job. Side note... Don't mistake St. George Cool Decking with any of the others. They are one of a kind. Great job!
Highly Recommend St. George Cool Decking – It Completely Transformed Our Pool Area! We had St. George Cool Decking come out and redo the concrete around our pool here in St. George, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Our old concrete was in rough shape — cracked, badly discolored, and a real patchwork from years of different repairs. The sections were brushed in completely different textures, and one area had even been stain-stamped, so nothing matched. It looked messy and felt awful to walk on, especially during our hot Utah summers. The Cool Decking team was wonderful to work with from start to finish. They applied two beautiful complementary colors that brought all those mismatched pieces together like it was always meant to look that way. The result is just stunning — clean, modern, and so cohesive. It genuinely feels like a brand-new space we’re proud to show off. What I love most is how it feels in real life. On those blazing St. George days when the old concrete would burn your feet, this surface stays so much cooler and is a joy to walk on barefoot. Plus, we don’t slip anymore when the deck gets wet from the pool or kids running around. It’s made our backyard so much more enjoyable and safer for our family. Wow! I am absolutely thrilled with the new coating. It turned out exactly as I wanted it. The guys and lady were very focused, hard working and efficient, they did an excellent job. I was nervous cuz the pool coping goes under the edge at an angle and was scared about what could get in the pool. They taped and put plastic over the water. Not an issue anywhere! I highly recommend their work!!!

How does the coating work?

Can you coat cracked or previously coated concrete?
Suitable cracks can be filled during preparation. Larger damage and existing coatings need an inspection before we can confirm the right approach.
When can I use my deck again?
Allow 24 hours before foot traffic and 14 days for full cure. We provide care instructions for your project before we leave.
